Regardless of whether or not you yourself are a musician, Music Matters, to all of us. In the same way that there would be no movies without actors, writers, or directors, without musicians there would be no music. We here at Bailey Brothers know just how important music is. We understand, first hand, the impact that music can have on someone’s life. We also understand that instruments are expensive and we don’t ever want that expense to prevent a student from becoming a musician.
We founded the Music Matters Foundation for one sole purpose, we believe that music should be available to EVERYONE!
YOU CAN HELP!
We have already set aside a limited number of instruments to be donated to deserving children who are recommended by Principals and Band Directors. But that’s not all! We will also be launching a campaign to collect donations of old instruments from members of our community. We will refurbish these instruments and add them to the pool of instruments to donate to those students nominated by our local schools.
The First Annual Rental Instrument Roundup!
We are currently accepting donations for the 2018/2019 School Year. If you have any old instruments lying around, we would love to refurbish them and donate them to deserving students. Simply drop off your instruments at a Bailey Brothers Store Location near you and we will issue you a Tax Deductible Donation Receipt.
Sponsor a Student!
You can sponsor a student directly for $50/month. Your generous donation will cover the expenses for an Instrument, Cleaning Kit and Accessories, as well as cover any needed maintenance and service on that student’s instrument.
Anything and everything helps. If you aren’t able to become a monthly sponsor, you can also donate directly to the Music Matters Fund.
We’re in the process of setting up online campaigns with Go Fund Me, KickStarter, and Patreon. In the meantime you can donate online here
If you can’t donate, please share the Music Matters Foundation page with any friends and family that you think should be involved. We have a great program for schools and educators, but we need your help to get the word out to. MUSIC MATTERS, TO EVERYONE!
